- • Strategic Sales Director role focused on growing Ooma’s 2600Hz business by building and expanding partnerships with Service Providers and Telecom Carriers, directly contributing to revenue growth and market expansion in the unified communications space.
- • Drive Growth & New Business: Leverage existing relationships to meet and exceed revenue targets; identify and pursue new opportunities within Service Providers and Telecom Carriers; negotiate agreements with new and existing partners; develop and execute sales strategies to expand Ooma’s footprint and customer base.
- • Understand the Market: Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in telecom and UCaaS; use market insights to refine sales approach and uncover new areas for growth and differentiation.
- • Build Strong Relationships: Serve as a trusted advisor to key partner accounts, fostering long-term, high-value relationships; collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, support) to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing customer success; focus on satisfaction, retention, and expansion within existing accounts.
- • Own Your Pipeline: Manage end-to-end sales pipeline, including forecasting, deal progression, and performance tracking; provide regular updates to leadership on progress, wins, challenges, and forecast accuracy; maintain disciplined sales process and CRM hygiene.
- • Advocate for the Customer: Take a customer-first approach by deeply understanding partner challenges and business goals; deliver tailored solutions that address real needs; gather and relay feedback to internal teams to inform product and service improvements.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in sales with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- • Existing, established relationships with Service Providers and Telecom Carriers
- • Deep understanding of telecommunications, including experience with Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) solutions, and exposure to CCaaS and/or CPaaS platforms
- • Familiarity with platforms such as Cisco BroadSoft, NetSapiens, or Metaswitch is strongly preferred
- • Strong strategic thinking and ability to convert market insights into actionable sales plans and initiatives
- • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with comfort engaging C-level and executive stakeholders
- • Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasts, and driving predictable revenue growth
- • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools for performance tracking
- • Willingness and ability to travel as needed to engage partners and attend industry events
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is considered a plus
