- • The Business Development Senior Advisor leads complex commercial activity across the full sales lifecycle for Evernorth Intelligence Solutions, driving data and analytics solutions to market and delivering client value.
- • Day to day, the role involves building strategic client relationships, owning commercial opportunities from lead generation through contracting, leading client meetings and business reviews, partnering with internal teams on solution alignment, serving as a strategic escalation point during implementation, translating market and client feedback into product strategy, and maintaining operational discipline through documentation and metric tracking.
- • The role sits within Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group focused on improving health and vitality through data-driven intelligence solutions, collaborating with sales, product, operations, legal, and leadership teams to bring innovative offerings to market.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in healthcare data commercialization, strengthen executive presence and stakeholder management, gain end-to-end ownership of complex B2B sales cycles, influence product roadmap through market insights, and grow as a trusted advisor bridging client needs and internal innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in data commercialization, sales, business development, strategy, consulting, product, or client-facing roles.
- • Healthcare, pharmacy, data, or analytics experience preferred.
- • Proven success building relationships and navigating complex business-to-business sales environments.
- • Experience leading strategic client discussions that drive business outcomes and profitable growth.
- • Proven experience leading commercial contract negotiations, with judgment to distinguish standard decisions from legal issues and a record of driving deals to execution.
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and hands-on experience with CRM and contract lifecycle management systems (e.g., Salesforce and Icertis).
