- • As a Rare Disease Business Manager in the Gastroenterology Rare Disease Sales Team, you will drive product demand in targeted physician offices and key clinics to impact patients’ lives by implementing marketing plans, articulating value propositions, and utilizing approved materials to meet sales and patient objectives.
- • Day to day, you will meet with healthcare professionals and staff to understand their needs, utilize a consultative selling approach for Short Bowel Syndrome and Ulcerative Colitis treatments, manage territory budgets for promotional speaker programs, document activities in CRM systems, and share best practices in regional and national meetings.
- • Takeda is a patient-focused, global pharmaceutical company committed to inspiring bold missions where everyone matters; you will join a collaborative, matrix environment working with Patient Services, Specialty Infusion Pharmacies, and Managed Markets to ensure compliant, ethical promotion of orphan drugs.
- • In this role, you will develop strategic business plans by analyzing local and regional market trends, strengthen internal partnerships for compliant selling approaches, and build expertise in gastroenterology, orphan drugs, and specialty infusion sales while advancing your career in a supportive, patient-centric organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA)
- • 3+ years of successful selling experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device, or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years of successful selling experience at Takeda
- • Valid driver’s license issued in the US with a clean driving record
- • Ability to discuss therapeutic strategies to inform and influence decision makers
- • Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills
- • Reside within or close proximity to the assigned Seattle geography
