- • Serve as the local expert for Colchester and Chelmsford in East England, possessing deep knowledge of the restaurant industry and acting as the primary representative of Deliveroo in these areas.
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant partners, including top-tier and local hero brands, to enhance their performance on the Deliveroo platform and drive mutual growth.
- • Conduct account management for key restaurant partners, leading negotiations and optimizing their commercial outcomes through data-driven insights and strategic adjustments.
- • Identify, recruit, and onboard new high-potential local restaurants and dark kitchen concepts (including Editions) to expand Deliveroo’s selection and improve customer offering.
- • Analyze regional performance data to uncover opportunities for improving customer proposition at the neighbourhood level, focusing on selection, pricing, and operational efficiency.
- • Develop and execute a localized sales strategy by mapping out key value proposition gaps and prioritizing areas for intervention in collaboration with Regional Manager, Operations, and Account Management teams.
- • Drive restaurant participation in local marketing initiatives to maximize promotional impact and increase order volume in Colchester and Chelmsford.
- • Work a hybrid schedule of 2–3 days per week in the field and 2–3 days per week from the London office or home, ensuring consistent presence and engagement across the region.
- • Collaborate with regional and global teams including Product, Technology, and Marketing to align local commercial goals with broader company objectives.
- • Act as a bridge between restaurant partners and internal teams, translating local market insights into actionable strategies that improve customer experience and partner satisfaction.
- • Monitor competitor activity and market trends in East England to inform strategic decisions and maintain Deliveroo’s competitive edge in the region.
- • Support the Regional Manager in setting and achieving commercial targets for the East England region through proactive planning and performance tracking.
- • Ensure all restaurant onboarding and operational support processes are executed effectively to enable long-term success for partners on the platform.
- • Represent Deliveroo’s brand and values in all interactions with restaurant partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in account management, relationship management, sales, or strategy roles
- • Results and target oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding commercial goals
- • Comfortable using and interpreting data on restaurant partner performance and regional metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- • Valid UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle for regular field work
- • Ability to work a hybrid schedule with 2–3 days per week in the field and 2–3 days per week remotely or in the London office
