  • • Own end-to-end revenue cycle management (RCM) for Sailor Health, responsible for sustaining top 5% industry KPIs including net collection rate, touchless claim rates, denial rates, days in AR, and cost to collect.
  • • Serve as the business owner and product manager for Sailor’s AI-native RCM stack, co-authoring product roadmaps with engineering and shipping internal RCM tools and workflows.
  • • Design and scale AI-driven workflows across claims management, denial resolution, QA, reconciliation, payment posting, and payer operations to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • • Build and deploy real-time RCM dashboards and reporting infrastructure to provide operational visibility across the revenue cycle for cross-functional teams.
  • • Identify and eliminate reimbursement leakage, process bottlenecks, and inefficiencies through data analysis and operational redesign, ensuring maximum revenue capture.
  • • Lead credentialing, enrollment, fee schedule integrity, and operational management of payer relationships in close partnership with the Payer Growth team.
  • • Ensure the patient billing experience aligns with Sailor’s 5-star standard, maintaining patient trust and satisfaction through clear, humane, and timely communication.
  • • Recruit, hire, and scale the RCM team as the first leader in the function, building a high-performance culture grounded in operational rigor and patient-centered outcomes.
  • • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with co-founders, Engineering, Product, and Operations to ship products, write SQL queries, automate processes, and make high-leverage decisions daily.
  • • Drive revenue operations with a blend of in-house innovation and external vendor management, leveraging Sailor’s state-of-the-art AI-native technology stack to compound competitive advantage.
  • • Maintain deep awareness of Medicare and Medicare Advantage reimbursement policies, applying this knowledge to optimize claims submission and reduce denials.
  • • Balance speed and precision in a fast-growing environment, thriving in ambiguity while delivering measurable improvements to financial performance and patient experience.
  • • Champion a culture of ownership, where every team member takes pride in building solutions that honor older adults and elevate the standard of care.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years of relevant experience leading or contributing to RCM at a digital health company or a tech-enabled RCM organization
  • • Demonstrated experience with Medicare/Medicare Advantage reimbursement systems and payer operations
  • • Strong data skills with proficiency in spreadsheets and preferred SQL experience to analyze operational performance and uncover edge cases
  • • Proven ability to manage end-to-end revenue cycle KPIs including net collection rate, denial rates, and days in AR
  • • Experience partnering with engineering teams to build or improve RCM products, tools, or automation workflows
