  • • Own end-to-end integrated resource planning for B2B Marketing, including budget allocation, headcount forecasting, and hiring priorities, delivering clear investment and tradeoff recommendations to leadership.
  • • Design and continuously improve the operational framework for B2B Marketing, establishing systems for priority-setting, weekly business reviews, update intake processes, decision forums, project tracking, and executive communications.
  • • Define and implement metrics, reporting cadences, and leadership narratives that align B2B Marketing progress with overarching business goals and measurable outcomes.
  • • Serve as strategic surge capacity for new or high-priority initiatives, stepping in to create operating models from 0 to 1, define execution plans, and program-manage launches without existing infrastructure.
  • • Identify operational gaps across planning, resourcing, reporting, and execution, then design and implement practical, scalable systems that enhance clarity, accountability, and decision-making as the team grows.
  • • Partner closely with Strategic Finance, Recruiting, Marketing leadership, and cross-functional teams to translate complex operational challenges into clear, actionable plans.
  • • Synthesize ambiguous or incomplete data into structured insights and executive-ready narratives that inform leadership decisions on strategy, risks, and resource allocation.
  • • Drive alignment across Sales, Product, Communications, Finance, and Recruiting to ensure cohesive execution of B2B marketing programs including campaigns, events, customer storytelling, lifecycle initiatives, and thought leadership.
  • • Build trust and influence stakeholders without formal authority by demonstrating operational rigor, reliability, and deep understanding of B2B marketing GTM motions.
  • • Maintain rigorous attention to detail in all operational artifacts, including financial models, headcount plans, project timelines, and executive briefing materials.
  • • Support the scaling of B2B Marketing by institutionalizing processes that reduce ambiguity, increase transparency, and enable consistent performance tracking across teams and functions.
  • • Act as a trusted advisor to B2B Marketing leadership, providing data-driven recommendations on operational efficiency, capacity planning, and program effectiveness.
  • • Manage occasional travel requirements related to events, stakeholder meetings, and cross-functional alignment sessions.
  • • Work within a hybrid model requiring three days per week in the San Francisco office to support in-person collaboration with core teams and leadership.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 14+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, strategic finance, consulting, marketing operations, or a marketing role in a fast-moving technology environment.
  • • Demonstrated experience working on or closely with a marketing team, with deep understanding of B2B marketing and GTM motions including campaigns, events, customer storytelling, launch planning, lifecycle and growth programs, sales partnership, and pipeline-oriented measurement.
  • • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with budgets, forecasts, headcount plans, operating metrics, and executive-facing reporting.
  • • Clear, crisp communication ability, particularly in synthesizing complex or ambiguous inputs for senior audiences.
  • • Proven ability to independently identify high-leverage operational problems, define scope, align stakeholders, and drive solutions from ambiguity to durable systems.
  • • Strong cross-functional instincts with the capacity to build trust quickly, make tradeoffs, and influence teams without formal authority.
