• • As a Stripe Billing Specialist for the APAC region at Heidi Health Pty Ltd, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless financial operations of our rapidly growing healthtech company. This role is pivotal in managing our Stripe billing ecosystem, directly impacting customer satisfaction and revenue integrity. You will be the go-to expert for all Stripe-related billing matters, ensuring that our subscription management, payment processing, and revenue controls are robust, accurate, and efficient. Your work will directly support clinicians by enabling them to focus on patient care, free from billing complexities, as Heidi continues its mission to provide AI-powered support to healthcare professionals worldwide.
• • In this critical role, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the comprehensive ownership of all closed-won deals processed through Stripe. This includes meticulously setting up new customer accounts, ensuring precise alignment with agreed-upon pricing structures, configuring subscriptions accurately, and maintaining strict adherence to contract terms. You will act as the internal subject matter expert for Stripe Billing and Payments, leveraging your hands-on expertise with the Stripe dashboard and its core billing workflows to manage and optimize our billing processes. A significant part of your role will involve proactively managing and troubleshooting a wide array of customer billing issues. This includes addressing queries related to invoices, subscription modifications, payment method updates, failed payments, processing refunds, handling disputes, managing chargebacks, and ensuring correct tax settings are applied. You will be responsible for administering and continuously optimizing recurring billing workflows within Stripe, covering everything from initial subscription setup, managing amendments and renewals, calculating prorations, applying credits, and refining the underlying invoicing logic to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Furthermore, you will actively monitor our dunning and collections workflows in Stripe, taking proactive measures to manage delinquent accounts, thereby minimizing customer churn and preventing revenue leakage. Your responsibilities extend to investigating any payment gateway issues, collaborating closely with internal teams to swiftly and accurately resolve billing and payment discrepancies. A key function will be the reconciliation of Stripe payments, payouts, associated fees, and all related financial activity against our internal systems, guaranteeing the completeness and accuracy of our financial records. You will foster strong partnerships with the Sales, RevOps, Finance, and Customer Success & Support teams, working collaboratively to maintain the integrity of billing data from the initial deal closure all the way through to cash collection. To support our financial reporting, you will contribute to the month-end close process by preparing essential Stripe-related reconciliations, generating necessary reports, and processing journal entries. As Heidi scales, you will be tasked with identifying and implementing opportunities to automate, streamline, and enhance our Stripe billing operations, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
