📋 Description

• As a Subject Matter Expert in Retail Trade & Store Operations, you will create and review realistic, high-quality scenarios that reflect operational, customer service, sales, pharmacy, loss prevention, and retail management challenges across supermarkets, pharmacies, department stores, luxury retail, shopping malls, and multi-branch operations, directly supporting a cutting-edge AI benchmarking project focused on retail and consumer-facing environments.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing realistic retail scenarios in Spanish or English grounded in operational contexts such as store operations, customer service escalations, inventory management, pharmacy workflows, retail compliance, fraud prevention, sales supervision, and branch coordination; adapting structured evaluation rubrics for operational problem-solving, customer interactions, retail decision-making, and compliance-related tasks; reviewing AI and human-generated responses for factual accuracy, policy compliance, customer service quality, and operational realism; and contributing to 'gold standard' solutions reflecting best practices across retail, pharmacy, and commercial operations.
• You will collaborate with Lilt Production, a global leader in AI-powered language technology, working remotely as an independent contractor to help ensure AI systems understand and respond accurately within highly active commercial sectors, contributing to the advancement of multilingual AI and human-verified services for enterprises, governments, and AI developers worldwide.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in AI training data development, refine your ability to evaluate operational realism in retail contexts, expand your cross-industry knowledge through diverse projects, and build a professional portfolio as part of a global community of linguists and subject matter experts advancing human knowledge through language technology.

🎯 Requirements

• Native-level Spanish (Mexico) with strong professional English proficiency
• 5+ years of professional experience in Retail, Store Operations, Pharmacy Operations, Commercial Management, Loss Prevention, or Retail Investigations
• Background in one or more relevant roles: Retail Sales Supervision, Store or Operations Management, Pharmacist or Pharmacy Operations, Retail Security, Loss Prevention, Fraud Investigation, Customer Experience, or Multi-Branch Retail Operations
• Strong understanding of customer service workflows, retail operations, compliance procedures, inventory management, and Indian retail environments
