- ⢠As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the AI for Finance course at Ziplines Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping an industry-aligned curriculum that empowers finance professionals to leverage generative AI, automation, and modern analytics tools safely and effectively within corporate environmentsâaddressing a critical skills gap in a profession under increasing pressure to deliver faster, more strategic insights with fewer resources.
- ⢠You will collaborate closely with Ziplinesâ Learning Experience Design team to refine course outlines, develop scenario-based learning content, design hands-on âPlaybookâ projects, and contribute to live session agendas, ensuring all materials reflect real-world finance workflows such as variance analysis, financial reporting, budget forecasting, and executive summaries while maintaining compliance with corporate AI policies.
- ⢠Your primary deliverable will be recording authentic, engaging video content (6â7 hours per week of on-demand material) that breaks down complex AI concepts into accessible, beginner-friendly lessons, using your expertise to demonstrate how tools can be applied to actual work from Week 1, fostering learner confidence and practical adoption.
- ⢠You will inspire and support a diverse cohort of driven professionalsâranging from career changers to seasoned experts seeking advancementâby modeling how AI can be integrated into daily finance practice without requiring coding, thereby helping learners earn a university-branded certificate that signals AI fluency in one of the most credential-sensitive fields.

- ⢠10+ years of professional experience in finance, with demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, or related core workflows.
- ⢠Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience applying AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms, modern analytics) to finance use cases such as variance analysis, budget forecasting, or executive reporting.
- ⢠Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly to non-technical or beginner-level audiences, particularly through video or live instruction.
- ⢠Strong passion for teaching, mentoring, and supporting career advancement in finance professionals, with a learner-centered mindset.
- ⢠Comfort and authenticity on camera, with the ability to deliver engaging video content while referencing notes or scripts naturally.
- ⢠Familiarity with corporate AI governance, compliance, and audit requirements, particularly as they apply to tool usage in financial environments.
