• • Substation Physical Engineer - REMOTE role focused on designing distribution substations (12kV to 69kV) with potential involvement in transmission projects above 69kV, ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables for electric utility clients.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading substation physical design (one-line/three-line diagrams, general arrangements, grounding, conduit, control cubicles, lighting, low-voltage AC panels), preparing engineering studies (AC load, illumination, grounding, lightning shielding), developing bills of materials, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, supporting client meetings, participating in site visits, interpreting vendor data, applying client standards, ensuring QA/QC compliance, adhering to IEEE/NESC/NEC codes, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving technical skills.
