- • Vevo, the premier global music video network with over a decade of experience, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Summer 2026 Video Production & Editorial Intern to join our dynamic team. This paid, part-time internship offers a unique, hands-on opportunity to immerse yourself in the fast-paced world of music video production and editorial content creation within a leading media and entertainment company.
- • As a Production Intern, you will be an integral part of our Creative & Logistics teams, gaining comprehensive training and practical experience across the entire video production lifecycle. This includes foundational knowledge in camera techniques, pre-production planning, on-set production execution, and post-production workflows essential for bringing high-quality music video content to life.
- • You will actively participate in and contribute to various stages of production, from conceptualization and planning to execution and delivery. This role provides a direct pathway to understanding the intricate processes that underpin successful video shoots, from initial concept to final edit.
- • A significant aspect of this internship involves honing your research skills. You will be tasked with conducting in-depth research to support editorial development, contributing to the narrative and thematic elements of our video content. This includes assisting with the preparation and execution of artist interviews, requiring keen attention to detail and the ability to gather relevant information effectively.
- • This internship is designed to be a transformative learning experience, allowing you to refine your existing skills and expand your horizons across all facets of production. You will have the chance to work on diverse projects, gaining exposure to different genres and artist collaborations.
- • The position is based in our New York City studios, with opportunities to work from both our Brooklyn studio and Times Square office. - • You will have the potential to contribute to Tier 1 projects, working alongside some of the industry's most respected professionals. This is a chance to learn from the best, observing and assisting Senior Producers as they lead innovative productions.
- • Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- • Assisting with pre-production tasks such as scheduling, location scouting, and script breakdown.
- • Supporting camera crews on set, learning about equipment setup and operation.
- • Participating in lighting and sound checks to ensure optimal recording conditions.
- • Helping to manage production logistics, ensuring smooth operations on shoot days.
- • Conducting research for editorial content, fact-checking, and gathering background information on artists and projects.
- • Assisting with the setup and execution of artist interviews, including preparing questions and managing interview flow.
- • Contributing to post-production tasks, such as organizing footage, basic editing support, and asset management.
- • Collaborating with the Creative and Logistics teams to brainstorm ideas and solve production challenges.
- • Maintaining Vevo's high standards for content quality and brand representation.
- • Learning and adhering to safety protocols on set.
