- • Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities for assigned single-family home projects, ensuring seamless progression from mobilization to final delivery.
- • Manage the simultaneous construction of up to 15 single-family homes at various stages of completion, maintaining strict oversight of timelines, quality, and safety standards.
- • Conduct regular field inspections using detailed checklists to monitor workmanship and verify adherence to approved scopes of work and project specifications.
- • Utilize Homebound’s proprietary project management software to execute daily operations, track progress, and ensure accurate documentation of all field activities.
- • Approve trade partner work and corresponding invoices based on verified quality, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- • Lead the implementation and enforcement of safety protocols on all job sites, ensuring full compliance with local, state, and national building codes and permitting authority regulations.
- • Maintain both digital and physical project documentation, including change orders, permits, inspection reports, and daily logs, ensuring all records are up to date and accessible.
- • Proactively identify and communicate changes to project scope, plans, or specifications, ensuring alignment with Project Managers and internal stakeholders.
- • Follow established operational procedures for communication, financial tracking, and change order management to maintain transparency and accountability across all projects.
- • Coordinate and schedule all required inspections with local authorities to sustain schedule momentum and avoid project delays.
- • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to provide field-based feedback on trade partner performance, budget accuracy, and cost optimization opportunities.
- • Participate in final client walkthroughs to ensure customer satisfaction and obtain official occupancy permits upon project completion.
- • Perform additional construction-related duties as needed to support field operations, including site readiness, vendor coordination, and resolution of on-site issues.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Superintendent in residential home construction
- • Proficiency with schedule management tools such as MS Project, BuilderTrend, CoConstruct, or Procore
- • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Google Suite
- • A valid driver’s license
