- • As a Supervisor, Operations at Centene Corporation, you will play a critical role in supporting the health and well-being of 28 million members by ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant operational processes. This position is vital to maintaining service quality and meeting contractual obligations in a national healthcare organization.
- • Day to day, you will supervise entry and processing staff, oversee hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions, monitor workflow and production reports, assign resources, analyze processes for improvement, handle customer inquiries and escalations, ensure quality standards, manage administrative functions like scheduling and timekeeping, and lead special projects aimed at operational efficiency and staff development.
- • You will join Centene’s Operations team, a diversified and mission-driven organization dedicated to transforming community health through accessible, high-quality care. The team collaborates across departments, interfaces with field personnel and contractors, and focuses on continuous improvement to support new programs and contracts.
- • In this role, you will develop leadership and supervisory expertise, gain deep experience in healthcare operations—particularly in government healthcare and Medicare environments—build skills in process analysis, quality control, and team development, and position yourself for advancement into higher-level operations or management roles within a large, national healthcare enterprise.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- • 2+ years of direct supervisory experience including hiring and firing authority for at least ten associates
- • 2+ years of experience in healthcare or a production environment, with government healthcare delivery preferred
- • Experience in Medicare is highly preferred
- • Experience in enrollment is highly desired
- • May require U.S. citizenship and current security clearance
