š Description
- ⢠At Pair Eyewear, we are revolutionizing the eyewear industry by putting our people at the forefront of our mission. We cultivate a vibrant and dynamic workplace where every employee is empowered to thrive, innovate, and contribute to our collective success. We are actively seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Supply Chain Associate to play a pivotal role in optimizing our inbound and outbound logistics operations. This critical position ensures the seamless flow of products, maintains exceptional visibility across our supply chain, and generates insightful reporting to drive strategic decision-making. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Logistics Operations, you will collaborate closely with a diverse range of cross-functional partners, including Sourcing, Planning, Customer Experience, and our vital warehouse and 3PL providers.
- ⢠Your core responsibilities will encompass the meticulous management of purchase order (PO) flow, the efficient execution of freight, the coordination of third-party logistics (3PL) providers, the precise management of Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), and the swift resolution of any operational issues. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our products move with unparalleled efficiency from our suppliers, through our warehouses, and ultimately to our valued customers and partners, even during the most demanding peak periods and crucial product launches. This role demands a proactive approach, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining data integrity in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
- ⢠**Key Responsibilities Include:**
- ⢠**Inbound Purchase Order and Shipment Management:** You will meticulously manage all inbound purchase orders and shipments, ensuring that our suppliers adhere to agreed-upon ship dates, quantities, and required documentation. A crucial aspect of this responsibility involves proactively identifying and flagging potential risks to the supply chain, while diligently maintaining comprehensive reporting that supports supply planning and provides essential visibility to our warehouse operations.
- ⢠**Inbound Freight Coordination and Tracking:** You will be responsible for coordinating inbound freight bookings, meticulously tracking shipments from origin to final delivery. This includes proactively identifying and resolving any delays, shortages, damages, or missing paperwork that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to our inventory flow.
- ⢠**Outbound Shipment Execution and Tracking:** You will execute and diligently track all outbound shipments, working closely with our 3PL partners to manage replacements, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery to our customers. This involves maintaining clear communication channels and ensuring service level agreements are met.
- ⢠**Warehouse Partnership and Execution:** You will foster strong partnerships with our warehouse teams, ensuring the timely and accurate execution of inbound receipts and outbound shipments, particularly during high-volume periods, critical product launches, and other peak seasons. Your collaboration will be key to maintaining operational efficiency.
- ⢠**SKU Setup and Maintenance:** You will own the critical process of SKU setup and ongoing maintenance within our NetSuite system. This involves ensuring the absolute accuracy of item data across all supply chain-critical fields, which is fundamental for inventory management, reporting, and operational planning.
- ⢠**Performance Reporting and Analysis:** You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive weekly and monthly KPI reports. These reports will cover key metrics such as PO health, inbound and outbound shipment performance, transit times, and overall service levels, providing valuable insights into supply chain efficiency.
- ⢠**Cross-Functional Collaboration and Process Improvement:** You will actively support cross-functional handoffs and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes across Sourcing, Planning, Customer Experience, Logistics, and our external warehouse partners. Your insights will help streamline operations and enhance collaboration.
- ⢠**Exception Management:** You will manage ad hoc, rush, or exception-based shipments as needed, demonstrating agility and problem-solving skills to address unique logistical challenges that arise.
- ⢠This role is ideal for an individual who is highly organized, execution-focused, and thrives in a dynamic environment. You must be comfortable managing a high volume of inbound and outbound shipments, POs, and SKUs simultaneously, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail throughout. Your ability to work with large data sets, maintain detailed trackers and reports, and ensure data hygiene is paramount. You should be adept at prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced setting, adapting quickly as supply chain timelines evolve, and proactively identifying and escalating risks related to timing, quantities, or system data integrity. Strong cross-functional communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with internal teams, suppliers, freight forwarders, 3PLs, and warehouse partners. A clear, concise communication style, coupled with the confidence to ask questions, document issues, and escalate when necessary, will be key to your success.
