  • • As a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Continuous Improvement Specialist at Hitachi Energy, you will drive operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies, eliminating waste, and turning improvements into scalable standard work across procurement, planning, and operations.
  • • Day to day, you will lead Kaizens and structured problem-solving activities, apply Lean tools like 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Visual Management, partner with the Tools & Methods team to design digital workflows, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • • You will join a global organization advancing the energy transition through operational excellence, collaborating with teams that value clarity, progress, and practical problem solving within Hitachi Energy’s Supply Chain Management function.
  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Lean methodologies, data-driven process improvement, and digital workflow design, while gaining exposure to global energy industry operations and contributing to measurable impact in supply chain efficiency and sustainability.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • • 2+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean, or operational roles.
  • • Hands-on experience leading Kaizens and cross-functional problem solving.
  • • Strong familiarity with Lean tools such as value stream mapping and standard work.
  • • Solid process and data skills, including KPI analysis and SOP development.
  • • Self-directed approach with strong ownership, follow-through, and collaboration skills.
