📋 Description

  • As a Support Engineer at Span Labs, you will be one of the first technical points of contact for customers, helping investigate support requests, debug product behavior, answer technical questions, and communicate clearly with both customers and internal teams.
  • Day to day, you will respond to customer support requests with clarity and ownership, triage and investigate technical issues across the Span product, read code, logs, API responses, and database records to understand problems, write and interpret SQL queries to debug issues, reproduce bugs, and escalate well-documented issues to engineering.
  • Span Labs is a Series A AI-native developer intelligence platform helping engineering organizations turn AI adoption into real effectiveness, working with forward-thinking companies like Ramp, Carvana, Intercom, and OpenTable, and backed by prominent founders and investors from Slack, Notion, Rippling, and others.
  • In this role, you will develop deep technical fluency in debugging complex systems, improve your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, gain experience in customer-facing technical support within a fast-moving SaaS environment, and contribute to improving internal support processes, documentation, and product feedback loops.

🎯 Requirements

  • Computer science degree or demonstrated self-taught coding ability
  • Ability to read and understand code, even if not writing production code daily
  • Comfort debugging technical problems using logs, SQL, internal tools, and structured investigation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • High ownership, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
