  • • Support industrial water treatment programs for customers in the Greater Houston, Texas region, focusing on refineries, chemical plants, and manufacturing facilities
  • • Conduct routine testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cooling, boiler, and wastewater treatment systems to ensure optimal performance
  • • Optimize chemical treatment programs to enhance system efficiency, protect plant assets, and improve operational reliability
  • • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with feed systems, pumps, controllers, sensors, valves, and other monitoring equipment
  • • Perform audits, system surveys, and performance evaluations to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customer operations, engineering, reliability, and procurement teams
  • • Present technical reports, KPIs, business reviews, and program recommendations clearly and professionally to customer stakeholders
  • • Collaborate with customers to address performance issues, implement corrective actions, and strengthen partnership value
  • • Support inventory management, chemical ordering, and coordination of on-site service requirements
  • • Partner with internal Solenis teams to ensure timely delivery, high service quality, and customer satisfaction
  • • Model and reinforce Solenis’ safety culture at all customer locations
  • • Ensure strict compliance with customer safety protocols, environmental regulations, and Solenis operational standards
  • • Maintain accurate and timely records of service activities, audit findings, and program performance metrics
  • • Travel to customer sites as needed to deliver on-site support, conduct inspections, and respond to operational issues
  • • Utilize technical expertise to drive commercial outcomes by aligning water treatment solutions with customer operational goals
  • • Work independently in the field while coordinating with regional and corporate support teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • • Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements during field operations
  • • Contribute to account growth by identifying opportunities for expanded service offerings and chemical program enhancements
  • • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Solenis product portfolio, application technologies, and industry best practices
  • • Respond to customer inquiries and emergencies with timely, data-driven technical support
  • • Ensure all documentation, reporting, and compliance records are completed in accordance with company and regulatory standards

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience may be considered)
  • • Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot feed equipment, sensors, valves, and controllers
  • • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • • Must live within 45 minutes of Freeport, TX or be willing to relocate
  • • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
