  • • As the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Growth at Atlas Oncology, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our strategic vision for expanding our network of value-based care partnerships. This pivotal role is designed for a dynamic leader who thrives in a high-growth environment and possesses a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, particularly in value-based contracting and provider network development. You will be the driving force behind our business development efforts, forging critical relationships with both payor and provider partners to deliver on our mission of providing truly whole-person care to cancer patients.
  • • You will lead the charge in developing and implementing a comprehensive national value-based care contracting strategy, working in close collaboration with the CEO, President, Chief People Officer (CPE), and Head of Provider Growth. This strategy will be the cornerstone of our enterprise growth objectives, ensuring alignment and maximizing our impact.
  • • A key responsibility will be to spearhead all payor contracting activities, engaging with national and regional health plans to establish mutually beneficial agreements. This includes designing and successfully implementing innovative full-risk payment models across diverse lines of business, such as Medicare Advantage (MA), Commercial, and Medicaid.
  • • You will be tasked with refining and enhancing our scalable growth function playbook. This involves developing robust contract templates, establishing clear pipeline reporting mechanisms, and defining essential policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency as we scale.
  • • Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will partner closely with our finance, clinical operations, and legal teams to ensure the seamless operationalization of all agreements, from negotiation to implementation and ongoing management.
  • • A critical aspect of your role will be to meticulously monitor contract performance, conduct thorough financial analyses, and communicate key risk insights and opportunities to senior leadership. This data-driven approach will inform our strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • • You will be empowered to drive continuous improvement initiatives and workflow optimization across the growth function, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • • As the primary liaison with payers and industry stakeholders, you will represent Atlas Oncology Partners with professionalism and expertise. Your role will involve fostering collaborative relationships and championing innovative care models that align with our value-based approach.
  • • Staying ahead of the curve is essential. You will be expected to remain informed about evolving industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes that could impact our growth strategy and operations.
  • • This role requires a player/coach mentality. You will initially manage and coach the provider growth function, with the expectation of building out a high-performing team responsible for net new contracting for both payors and providers, comprehensive account management, and efficient payor implementation processes.
  • • You will own the payor growth and account management functions, focusing on building strong, long-term relationships that support our contracting efforts. This includes identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • • The SVP of Growth will be the external face of Atlas to payors, building trust and demonstrating the value of our partnership model. This involves articulating our vision, showcasing our capabilities, and negotiating complex agreements that drive mutual success.
  • • You will coordinate internal resources effectively to advance the sales pipeline, ensuring that all necessary stakeholders are engaged and aligned throughout the contracting process.
  • • Once agreements are live, you will work cross-functionally to ensure smooth operationalization, collaborating with teams to address any challenges and optimize performance.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to a mission-driven organization dedicated to transforming cancer care. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to expand access to high-quality, value-based oncology services.
  • • You will be responsible for developing and refining the go-to-market strategy for our provider network, identifying target practices and developing compelling value propositions that resonate with their needs and aspirations.
  • • Furthermore, you will play a key role in shaping our approach to provider engagement and support, ensuring that our partners are equipped to succeed within our value-based framework.
  • • The ability to analyze complex financial data, understand healthcare economics, and translate these insights into actionable strategies will be paramount to your success in this role.
  • • You will be expected to champion a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the growth team, encouraging new ideas and fostering an environment where experimentation is valued.
  • • Ultimately, your leadership will be critical in scaling Atlas Oncology's reach and impact, enabling us to serve more patients and providers with our transformative approach to cancer care.
