  • • The SVP, Key Account Management role at Evotec SE is a senior leadership position focused on strengthening and expanding partnerships with the company’s most strategic customers, driving long-term value creation, retention, and growth across top-tier global accounts.
  • • Day to day, the individual will develop and execute multi-year account strategies, own and evolve account plans for high-value customers, drive revenue growth and retention, identify and close new opportunities within existing accounts, build executive-level relationships with scientific C-level stakeholders, lead Joint Steering Committees and Quarterly Joint Business Reviews, define operational success metrics, manage renewal and expansion motions, shape pipeline opportunities including upsell and cross-sell, conduct whitespace analysis and account tiering reviews, balance growth with delivery feasibility and margin discipline, lead matrix coordination across R&D, Operations, Legal, Finance, and enabling functions, ensure seamless execution and high customer satisfaction, monitor performance against plans, and apply disciplined qualification of opportunities.

  • • In this role, the individual can shape strategic customer partnerships that influence long-term therapeutic innovation, drive measurable commercial impact across global markets, deepen expertise in enterprise-level key account management within the life sciences sector, lead complex multi-stakeholder initiatives, and advance their leadership in a high-impact, matrixed environment focused on durable, predictable, and scientifically aligned partnerships.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Medical or scientific background preferred; alternatively, business background with significant CRO, CDMO, or biopharma experience
  • • Several years of relevant industry experience
  • • Extensive experience managing large strategic accounts at executive level
  • • Proven track record in enterprise-level key account management and new customer development
  • • Demonstrated experience in complex, multi-stakeholder deal orchestration
  • • Strong expertise in drug discovery and pre-clinical development
