We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer specializing in SaaS platforms, particularly Salesforce, to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in designing, modernizing, and migrating Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms within large enterprise environments. You will leverage your deep technical expertise in Salesforce, combined with a strong foundation in systems engineering and enterprise integration, to drive critical projects.
• • Your primary focus will be on transformative initiatives, including large-scale CRM replacement programs, with a particular emphasis on Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, and complex migration projects. A significant aspect of this role will involve leading and supporting initiatives to migrate from Microsoft Dynamics to Salesforce, and vice-versa, ensuring seamless transitions and functional parity. You will be instrumental in integrating Salesforce with robust backend ERP systems, employing modern integration patterns and middleware solutions to ensure efficient and reliable data flow.
• • This position demands an individual who thrives in environments where governance, reliability, and auditability are paramount. You will be responsible for designing, building, refactoring, and remediating Salesforce solutions using a variety of tools and technologies, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and declarative configuration. A key part of your contribution will be stabilizing and modernizing complex, highly customized Salesforce organizations, ensuring they are scalable and adhere to strict governance standards.
• • You will play a crucial role in rationalizing data models, automation strategies, and security frameworks to support enterprise-wide scale and compliance. Your solutions must align with Salesforce architectural best practices and overarching enterprise standards, ensuring long-term maintainability and efficiency. This involves a deep dive into the intricacies of Salesforce architecture, understanding its limitations and capabilities to deliver optimal outcomes.
• • In the realm of CRM porting and platform replacement, you will lead and support initiatives migrating from Microsoft Dynamics to Salesforce. This requires a thorough analysis of Dynamics entities, workflows, and existing integrations, followed by a precise mapping to their Salesforce equivalents. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive data migration strategies, encompassing transformation, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data integrity. Rebuilding business logic, automation, and user experiences to achieve functional parity with the legacy system will be a core responsibility, alongside supporting cutover planning, parallel runs, and post-migration stabilization efforts.
• • Your expertise will extend to enterprise architecture and ERP integration. You will design and implement robust integrations between Salesforce and critical backend ERP systems such as SAP and various finance platforms. This will involve leveraging middleware solutions like MuleSoft for API-led connectivity and orchestration, working with REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), and ETL pipelines. Defining system-of-record boundaries, data ownership, and ensuring transactional integrity across integrated systems will be essential.
• • Furthermore, you will contribute to cutting-edge initiatives involving Data Cloud, Agentforce, and AI-enabled automation. This includes designing and implementing Salesforce Data Cloud ingestion, harmonization, and activation patterns. You will enable Agentforce-driven workflows and intelligent agents within Salesforce-centric processes, and integrate Salesforce data and workflows into Tessera’s proprietary multi-agent AI platform. Supporting modernization efforts that involve fragmented data and legacy CRM implementations will also be a key focus.
• • As a hands-on technical contributor, you will collaborate closely with architecture, integration, AI, and delivery teams throughout enterprise CRM modernization programs. Effective communication of technical risks, tradeoffs, and design decisions to executive stakeholders is vital. You will also be expected to travel to customer sites to support critical project milestones, fostering strong client relationships and ensuring successful project delivery.
• • This role embodies extreme ownership, requiring you to own production-grade solutions in regulated, mission-critical environments. You will need to expertly balance the need for speed and agility with the imperative for auditability, reliability, and long-term maintainability. Contributing to the development and refinement of internal best practices for CRM migration and Salesforce architecture will be a valuable contribution to the team's collective knowledge and efficiency.
• • The ideal candidate possesses 3-7+ years of experience in Salesforce systems engineering or technical consulting, with strong hands-on Salesforce development skills. Proven experience supporting CRM migration or large-scale modernization programs is essential, as is the ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous enterprise environments. Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical teams and executive audiences, are required. A willingness to travel within the U.S. is also a prerequisite for this exciting opportunity.
