📋 Description

• Talent Acquisition Lead (Israel) at Arago GmbH, responsible for owning talent acquisition end to end for Israeli operations, working directly with the CEO and CTOs to bring in engineers and scientists who will define Arago's next chapter.
• Day to day: running and closing critical searches across hardware, optical, software, and research roles in Israel; partnering with leadership to scope roles and calibrate on talent; building a proactive sourcing engine across Israel with coordination to US and European hubs; defining and sharpening interview processes and hiring bar; mentoring recruiters as the team grows; leading the broader People function in Israel over time; building employer brand in the Israeli deep tech ecosystem; tracking pipeline health and hiring velocity and sharing updates with leadership.
• About the team or company: Arago is an AI and computer hardware company founded in 2024 by AI researchers and physicists with expertise in photonics, electronics, software, mathematics, and machine learning; backed by executives from Apple, Arm, Nvidia, Microsoft, and Hugging Face, as well as prominent deeptech venture firms; composed of nine nationalities operating from hubs in France, North America, and Israel; guided by principles of doing great things, high velocity, and being one unit.
• What the person can learn or achieve: opportunity to mentor recruiters, define scalable recruiting processes, take lead on broader People function in Israel, and progress toward Head of People (Israel) role; ownership of a key technical domain with significant vertical and horizontal growth opportunities based on performance and drive.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of recruiting experience with a strong headhunting track record in deep tech, semiconductors, AI, or hardware.
• Proven ability to close senior technical talent (staff/principal engineers, research scientists, technical leadership) end to end, independently.
• Experience in fast-moving startups or scale-ups, ideally Series A through C.
• Deep network in the Israeli semiconductor and AI ecosystem (Tel Aviv, Ra'anana, Herzliya, Haifa).
• Sharp sourcing instincts and outreach that earns replies from hard-to-reach people.
• Comfort working across geographies and timezones (Israel, US, France).
• Experience designing processes from scratch, not just running them.
• Proficiency in both Hebrew and English.
