- • Lead and execute end-to-end talent acquisition for technical and hard-to-fill roles across North and South America, personally managing a requisition load while overseeing a small TA team.
- • Design, implement, and scale unified global recruiting processes that improve candidate experience, hiring efficiency, and operational consistency across regions.
- • Partner with global Talent Acquisition teams to align on hiring priorities, distribute workload, and ensure seamless international coverage and continuity.
- • Coach and develop TA Specialists/Partners on prioritization, execution, candidate management, and maintaining an uncompromising talent bar in fast-paced environments.
- • Leverage AI-driven tools and automation to enhance sourcing effectiveness, track funnel health, monitor hiring metrics, and drive data-informed recruitment decisions.
- • Partner with the VP of People to continuously optimize the talent acquisition tech stack, including Ashby or AI-native ATS platforms, and evaluate emerging AI tools for recruitment workflows.
- • Champion the thoughtful adoption of AI in hiring, ensuring tools improve efficiency while upholding candidate quality, reducing bias, and promoting responsible usage across the organization.
- • Manage and expand Hiya’s global internship program, including university partnerships, program structure, intern experience design, and outcomes tracking.
- • Lead employer branding initiatives to position Hiya as an employer of choice in competitive technical talent markets, increasing candidate engagement and market visibility.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless global onboarding experience from offer acceptance through the first week, fostering connection and set-up for success.
- • Use recruiting data and pipeline metrics to identify bottlenecks, improve hiring outcomes, and communicate progress to leadership with actionable insights.
- • Work closely with senior leaders to develop hiring plans aligned with business growth goals, providing executive-level perspective on candidate fit and talent strategy.
- • Maintain high operational intensity in ambiguous environments, taking ownership of outcomes, challenging processes, and driving change with urgency and autonomy.
- • Demonstrate fluency in AI-forward recruiting practices, including using AI agents to improve sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement while understanding human behavior and decision-making biases.
- • Ensure all hiring practices reflect Hiya’s core values: Serve, Own, Lead, Improve, and Do — with a relentless focus on trust, quality, and customer-centric outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of talent acquisition experience in AI or high-growth/startup tech environments, including managing recruiters or recruiting teams.
- • Proven experience partnering with senior leaders to influence hiring decisions while upholding high talent standards in fast-paced settings.
- • Strong technical talent acquisition background with ability to operate as both strategic partner and hands-on individual contributor.
- • Experience building or improving recruiting processes and workflows in scaling organizations.
- • Required: Experience with Ashby or AI-native ATS platforms; familiarity with Juicebox, LinkedIn Recruiter, and metaview.
- • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and automation in TA workflows with awareness of bias, accountability, and human decision-making.
