  • • As Popl's inaugural Talent Acquisition Recruiter, you will be the driving force behind building our exceptional team, playing a pivotal role in attracting, engaging, and securing top-tier talent across all critical departments including engineering, product, sales, customer success, and operations. This is a unique opportunity to establish and refine our recruitment function from the ground up, significantly shaping our employer brand and implementing scalable, efficient hiring processes that will support our rapid growth.
  • • You will own the entire recruitment lifecycle, from the initial job intake with hiring managers to extending offers and coordinating seamless onboarding. This end-to-end responsibility ensures a consistent and high-quality experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • • A key aspect of your role will involve partnering closely with hiring managers. This collaboration will include conducting thorough role intake sessions to deeply understand the specific needs and nuances of each position, collectively aligning on essential requirements, and providing strategic guidance on the most effective hiring approaches to secure the best fit candidates.
  • • You will be the custodian of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), responsible for its management, optimization, and ensuring its effective use. This includes maintaining accurate candidate data, streamlining workflows for maximum efficiency, and generating robust reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • • Serving as the primary point of contact for all candidates, you will guide them through every stage of the interview process. This involves managing all interview scheduling, providing timely and transparent communication, and ensuring a positive and informative experience from their initial application through to their first day.
  • • Where necessary, you will collaborate with and oversee external recruiters and hiring partners. Your role will involve managing these relationships, ensuring clear communication regarding intake requirements, overseeing the execution of their recruitment efforts, and monitoring their performance against our hiring goals.
  • • A significant part of your contribution will be to develop and continuously enhance our candidate assessment strategies. This includes designing and implementing effective interview frameworks, creating meaningful take-home assignments, and developing exercises that accurately evaluate candidates' skills, competencies, and cultural fit for specific roles.
  • • You will be instrumental in elevating the overall candidate experience. This means meticulously crafting clear, thoughtful, and engaging processes and touchpoints at every stage, ensuring that candidates feel valued, informed, and excited about the prospect of joining Popl.
  • • Proactively building and maintaining a strong, diverse talent pipeline will be crucial for both current and future hiring needs. This involves strategic sourcing and nurturing relationships with potential candidates.
  • • You will be responsible for establishing, documenting, and continuously refining our recruitment processes and best practices. This foundational work will be essential for supporting our scale and ensuring consistency and quality in our hiring efforts.
  • • Tracking key recruiting analytics and sharing actionable insights will be vital for improving hiring efficiency, quality, and overall effectiveness. Data-driven decision-making will be a cornerstone of your approach.
  • • You will act as a brand ambassador for Popl, representing our unique culture, core values, and compelling employer brand to all candidates and the broader talent community. Your interactions will significantly influence how potential hires perceive our company.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 2 years of dedicated recruiting experience, with a strong preference for experience within tech startups or high-growth environments.
  • • Proven ability to independently manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to offer negotiation and closing.
  • • Demonstrated strong sourcing skills, with proficiency in utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, AngelList, and other relevant talent sourcing tools.
  • • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and hiring managers at all levels.
  • • A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment and a proven track record of building recruitment processes from scratch.
  • • A genuine passion for creating an exceptional candidate experience and actively contributing to the development of a strong employer brand.
