📋 Description

• • Senior Backend Engineer responsible for building and scaling the backend of a borderless neobank on stablecoin rails, ensuring transactional integrity, idempotency, and crash-resilience in a high-stakes financial system.
• • Day-to-day work includes end-to-end feature delivery across banking, cards, crypto, and compliance modules; designing Temporal workflows for critical financial operations; implementing reliable webhook integrations with signature verification and IP whitelisting; evolving event-driven architectures; and maintaining observability and incident response for payment flows.
• • Part of an agentic-first engineering team at Toptal, LLC, where AI-assisted tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) is used daily as infrastructure, not experimentation, with a focus on correctness, codified standards, TDD, and pre-commit quality gates.
