- • As a Senior Project Leader at Toptal, you will launch and operate high-impact AI data and human-in-the-loop projects end-to-end in fast-moving, high-pressure environments, ensuring seamless execution across client and talent annotator workflows.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include setting up new projects with structured briefs and workflows, vetting and training talent annotators, managing daily operations across multiple concurrent projects, maintaining stakeholder alignment, handling complex interpersonal situations, and delivering consistent quality against SLAs and timelines.
- • You will join Toptal’s New Business offering—a premium, expert-driven organization focused on delivering high-quality AI data, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop workflows—within the world’s largest fully remote workforce, where innovation, speed, and operational rigor are paramount.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in operational excellence for AI data projects, drive continuous process improvement, partner with product and QA teams to scale best practices, and grow into broader delivery ownership or platform-level impact through end-to-end project accountability.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in project management or operations in high-intensity environments such as consulting, startups, data/AI, or similar fields
- • Proven ability to manage complex workflows and distributed teams with strong communication skills to navigate ambiguity and interpersonal complexity
- • High attention to detail combined with speed and execution focus, comfortable operating under pressure with shifting priorities
- • Demonstrated ability to build and improve processes proactively, identify gaps, and implement solutions rather than just follow existing workflows
