  • • As a Claims Representative specializing in Auto and PIP claims, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals facing unexpected injuries by evaluating medical losses and determining eligibility for personal injury protection and medical payment benefits, directly contributing to Sedgwick’s mission of providing compassionate, expert claims management.
  • • Day to day, you will review auto claims to assess medical loss, research policy contracts to interpret coverage language, evaluate medical treatment and bills, analyze medical records for injury details, identify claim exposures, establish or adjust reserves, document all claim activity accurately, communicate with clients, claimants, providers, and attorneys, and negotiate claim resolutions within your authority.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • • State adjuster license required
  • • Three (3) years of experience in Personal Injury Protection (PIP), medical payment, workers compensation, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • • Knowledge of medical terminology and application of deductibles and limits
  • • Familiarity with Bodily Injury (BI)/Casualty adjusting
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and strong organizational skills
