  • • Source and engage exceptional talent primarily focused on General & Administrative (G&A) roles, including functions such as finance, operations, HR, legal, and administrative leadership.
  • • Own the end-to-end candidate experience from initial outreach through offer negotiation, ensuring a high-signal, high-quality process that builds trust and reflects Fractional AI’s standards.
  • • Evolve and optimize the existing recruiting system by incorporating data, AI tools, and experimentation to improve sourcing, evaluation, and closing effectiveness.
  • • Collaborate across functions to support hiring needs beyond G&A as the company scales, adapting recruitment strategies to align with evolving team requirements.
  • • Identify and attract foundational G&A talent and leaders who have successfully scaled operations in early-stage or high-growth environments.
  • • Demonstrate strong judgment and empathy by quickly building rapport with candidates and hiring teams to accurately assess cultural and operational fit.
  • • Leverage technical fluency to understand modern engineering stacks and effectively communicate candidate alignment with technical teams and product goals.
  • • Operate with high ownership and a bias for leverage, seeking opportunities to scale impact through automation, tooling, and AI-driven recruitment workflows.
  • • Contribute to building a culture where Fractional AI is recognized as the best place to learn and apply frontier AI, ensuring talent acquisition supports the company’s mission and values.
  • • Actively engage with the company’s culture of overusing AI by experimenting with and adopting the latest recruitment technologies and AI-powered tools.
  • • Maintain alignment with company values of overdelivering on impact, overusing AI in daily workflows, and over-engineering team culture for long-term excellence.
  • • Work in-person four days per week (Monday–Thursday) at the San Francisco or New York office, with Fridays designated as remote.
  • • Participate in regular team events and activities designed to foster camaraderie and reinforce a strong, collaborative team spirit.
  • • Ensure all hiring practices reflect the company’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and operational rigor in building applied AI systems.

  • • Strong judgment and empathy to build trust with candidates and hiring teams
  • • Data-driven and experimental mindset with experience using metrics and AI to improve recruitment outcomes
  • • Technical fluency to understand modern engineering stacks and assess candidate fit with technical teams
  • • High ownership with a bias for leverage, using automation and tooling to scale impact
  • • Willingness to work 4 days per week in-person at either the San Francisco or New York office
