- • Source and engage exceptional talent with a primary focus on product roles, identifying candidates who can build and deploy applied AI systems in high-growth environments.
- • Own the end-to-end candidate experience—from initial outreach through offer negotiation—building trust, understanding motivations, and ensuring a high-signal, high-quality hiring process.
- • Evolve and refine Fractional AI’s recruiting process by integrating data, AI tools, and experimentation to improve sourcing, evaluation, and closing strategies.
- • Partner closely with engineering, product, and commercial leadership to understand team needs and align hiring strategy with technical and cultural requirements.
- • Build and scale a talent pipeline for product roles by leveraging networks, platforms, and innovative sourcing techniques tailored to frontier AI talent.
- • Assess candidate technical fluency and cultural fit by understanding modern engineering stacks and product development lifecycles in AI-driven environments.
- • Operate with high ownership and a bias for leverage, using automation, tooling, and AI to increase efficiency and impact across the recruiting function.
- • Collaborate across functions as the company grows, supporting hiring needs beyond product roles while maintaining a strong focus on product talent acquisition.
- • Contribute to building Fractional AI’s reputation as the best place to learn and apply cutting-edge AI by attracting top-tier engineers, product leaders, and commercial operators.
- • Uphold company values by overdelivering on candidate experience, overusing AI in recruitment workflows, and over-engineering the culture to ensure Fractional remains an exceptional place to work.
- • Maintain alignment with the company’s mission of turning complex AI systems into enterprise value by ensuring every hire contributes to building world-class applied AI teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • Track record of hiring top talent, including founding product managers or building product teams in early-stage or high-growth environments
- • Strong judgment and empathy to assess candidate potential and build trust with both candidates and hiring teams
- • Data-driven and experimental mindset with experience using metrics and AI to improve sourcing, evaluation, and closing processes
- • Technical fluency in modern engineering stacks and ability to credibly assess candidate fit for AI-focused product teams
- • High ownership with a bias for leverage, using automation and tooling to scale impact
- • Willingness to work 4 days per week in-person at the San Francisco or New York office, with Fridays remote
