- • As a Talent Systems & Recruiting Ops Builder at Hangar Aviation Technologies, Inc., you will design and implement the foundational recruiting infrastructure that enables fast, high-quality hiring at scale—turning manual, chaotic processes into automated, reliable systems that empower recruiters and hiring managers to focus on people, not paperwork.
- • You will own the end-to-end evolution of the recruiting tech stack, ensuring data integrity, workflow efficiency, and candidate experience are continuously improved through weekly iterations and measurable impact.
- • Day to day, you will build and refine scalable sourcing automation that consistently delivers qualified, interested candidates per role by leveraging tools like Clay, Zapier/Make, and AI-assisted platforms to reduce manual effort and increase pipeline velocity.
- • You will launch and maintain competitor and talent signal monitoring systems using Slack alerts to surface real-time market changes—such as hiring spikes, layoffs, or emerging talent pools—enabling proactive sourcing strategies.
- • You will design and operate a referral and backchannel engine that maps internal employee networks, identifies warm introduction paths, and surfaces high-potential candidates through trusted connections.
- • You will automate interviewer and candidate enablement by creating prep packets, interview guide libraries, triggered messaging sequences, and calendar workflows that reduce no-shows, improve readiness, and ensure consistency across hiring teams.
- • You will optimize the careers site to better communicate the company’s story, improve inbound candidate quality, reduce application drop-off, and increase conversion through collaboration with brand/marketing on content, SEO/AEO, and user experience.
- • You will establish and maintain data guardrails within the ATS (e.g., Greenhouse/Lever) through validation rules, exception reporting, and cleanup routines to ensure trustworthy metrics, accurate reporting, and reliable coordination across talent and hiring teams.
- • You will partner closely with talent partners, operations leaders, and hiring managers to understand pain points, prototype solutions quickly, and ship improvements weekly—favoring speed, feedback, and iteration over perfection.
- • You will develop and maintain dashboards and quality loops tracking key metrics such as response rates, conversion rates, funnel health, and data integrity to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate impact.
- • You will work fully remotely within US time zones (EST–PST), requiring proven experience thriving in distributed teams using Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana or similar tools, with preference for prior collaboration with US or UK-based companies.
- • You will embrace a candidate-first mindset, optimizing every touchpoint for clarity, speed, and respect—ensuring both candidates and interviewers feel valued, informed, and supported throughout the process.
🎯 Requirements
- • Ability to whiteboard and prioritize the core recruiting systems (sourcing automation, signal monitoring, referral engine, enablement automation, careers site optimization, ATS data governance) and define a clear MVP to ship first.
- • Minimum 1+ year of dedicated experience as a sourcer or recruiter with proven ability to distinguish real pipeline-building activities from vanity metrics.
- • Hands-on recruiting operations background including process design, tooling implementation, reporting, and stakeholder enablement in fast-paced environments.
- • Practical builder mindset: proven track record of moving rapidly from idea to prototype to working workflow, then iterating based on feedback and results.
- • Strong candidate-first orientation: consistently optimizing for clarity, speed, and positive experience for both candidates and interviewers.
- • Non-negotiable: Demonstrated success in prior remote work roles, fluency with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana or equivalent), and ideally experience working with US or UK-based companies—applications lacking this will not be considered.
