📋 Description
- • As a Territory Account Sales Executive for the Benelux region at Autodesk, you will be at the forefront of driving digital transformation within the manufacturing industry. This pivotal role involves managing a portfolio of key accounts, focusing on expanding new business opportunities and ensuring the renewal of existing contracts. You will operate as a trusted advisor, deeply understanding customer challenges and translating them into tangible business value with a clear Return on Investment (ROI).
- • Your primary responsibility will be to achieve and exceed ambitious quarterly and annual sales targets. This will be accomplished through strategic up-selling, add-on sales, and cross-selling Autodesk's comprehensive suite of solutions. You will be instrumental in growing existing accounts and identifying new avenues for expansion within renewals, contributing directly to Autodesk's mission of digitizing and transforming the manufacturing sector.
- • You will engage in high-level negotiations with stakeholders across various levels within target accounts, with a particular emphasis on C-level executives. Building and maintaining strong, effective relationships and a robust network within these accounts will be crucial for success.
- • A key aspect of this role involves developing and executing comprehensive account plans. This requires a thorough evaluation of customer profiles, crafting compelling value propositions, and implementing strategic steps to achieve sales objectives. You will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the manufacturing market, its diverse industries, and the intricate design and engineering processes that drive customer operations.
- • Collaboration is central to this position. You will work closely with a diverse internal team, including Inside Sales, Customer Success Managers, Technical Sales specialists, Account-Based Marketing teams, and Autodesk Channel Partners. This cross-functional teamwork is essential for delivering a seamless and value-driven experience to our customers.
- • Proactive pipeline management is critical. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong 5-quarter rolling pipeline, ensuring accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly business forecasts. This foresight allows for strategic planning and resource allocation.
- • You will need to possess a solid understanding of Autodesk's product portfolio, recognizing how its applications integrate to create powerful end-to-end workflows for manufacturing clients. Effectively communicating the benefits and value of these solutions in the context of customer workflows will be a core competency.
- • The manufacturing industry is inherently complex. This role demands the ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources, navigate challenging situations, and think critically on your feet. You must be adept at simplifying complex technical and business concepts for customers, ensuring clarity and driving understanding.
- • Providing valuable customer feedback to Autodesk's product, industry, and strategy marketing teams is an important contribution. Your insights will help identify product strengths and areas for improvement, directly influencing future product development and market strategy.
- • You will also play a role in supporting customers and the company in developing creative success stories, showcasing the real-world impact of Autodesk solutions.
- • This role requires significant travel, estimated at approximately 60% of your working time, to be present at customer locations for business development, prospecting, post-sales activities, and contract negotiations. This on-site presence is vital for building strong relationships and understanding customer needs firsthand.
- • The position offers flexibility, with options for remote or hybrid work arrangements within the Netherlands or Belgium, providing a balance between professional demands and personal flexibility.
