- • Develop and review ASC 740 income tax provisions using technical tax knowledge to address complex client tax issues
- • Lead research and analysis on federal, state, international, and local tax regulatory changes and their implications for client tax positions
- • Partner directly with clients to deliver tailored tax advisory solutions, including transaction tax, sales and use tax, distressed and bankruptcy tax, and transfer pricing
- • Oversee the preparation and quality control of client-facing deliverables such as reports, presentations, and tax documentation
- • Implement and leverage tax technology solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of tax provision processes
- • Contribute to the growth of the tax practice by identifying new business opportunities and building strong client relationships
- • Participate in internal firm initiatives including recruiting, training, community service, and firm-wide events
- • Travel as required to client sites based on project needs and geographic location
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving tax laws and regulatory developments across multiple jurisdictions
- • Apply analytical rigor to identify tax risks and opportunities, and propose pragmatic, actionable solutions
- • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills when explaining complex tax concepts to clients and internal teams
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrated finance and tax advisory engagements
- • Ensure adherence to firm standards and DELTA values (Drive, Excellence, Leadership, Teamwork, Accountability) in all client interactions and deliverables
- • Support the enhancement of internal tax functions through strategic counsel and process improvements
- • Engage in continuous learning to stay current with advancements in tax technology and industry best practices
- • Contribute to the development of junior team members through mentorship and guidance on technical and professional skills
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation
- • 6+ years of experience in tax advisory or consulting, with emphasis on ASC 740 income tax provisions
- • Proficiency in tax provision technology and implementation experience
- • Preferably Big 4 or large CPA firm experience
- • Ability and willingness to travel based on client location
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
