- • As a Tax Manager – Direct Taxes at Remote, you will be at the forefront of managing intricate direct tax matters across a diverse range of global jurisdictions. - • You will be instrumental in shaping and executing our direct tax strategy, working collaboratively with a variety of internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and HR teams, as well as external tax advisors and business partners. Your contributions will be crucial in delivering significant value across corporate tax, compliance, and proactive tax planning initiatives, directly impacting the company's financial health and operational agility.
- • A core responsibility will be the oversight of global direct tax compliance. This involves ensuring the timely and accurate preparation and submission of corporate income tax returns, withholding tax returns, and all other requisite direct tax filings for entities operating across numerous countries. You will be the guardian of our tax compliance, ensuring adherence to all local and international regulations.
- • You will cultivate and manage strong relationships with external tax advisors. This partnership is essential for supporting tax filings, ensuring comprehensive documentation, and meeting reporting obligations in multiple jurisdictions. Your ability to effectively manage these external relationships will be key to navigating complex international tax landscapes.
- • Maintaining sustainable compliance is paramount. You will be responsible for ensuring ongoing adherence to the requirements of local tax authorities, proactively mitigating potential risks, and fostering positive, professional relationships with these bodies. - • This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within Europe, with a preference for candidates located in Europe due to the specific expertise required in those regions. You will report to the Head of Direct Tax Compliance and be part of the Finance - Tax team.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in international direct taxation, preferably within a consultancy or multinational corporate environment.
- • Strong understanding of global corporate tax rules, cross-border compliance, tax treaties, and EU Directives.
- • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and lead teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- • Excellent analytical skills with the capability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage.
- • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; a Post-Graduate or Master’s degree in Taxation is a plus.
