- • As a Tax, Senior Manager at Reddit Inc., you will play a hands-on, strategic role in the Global Tax Team, driving tax planning and execution to support Reddit’s growth as a public company. You will act as a high-impact advisor to Finance and cross-functional teams, ensuring tax strategies align with business objectives while upholding Reddit’s values of openness and human-centered collaboration.
- • Day to day, you will lead the company’s tax planning strategy, own global cash tax and effective tax rate (ETR) forecasting, oversee tax due diligence for M&A transactions, review and negotiate commercial agreements for tax terms, assist with quarterly and annual tax provisions, design tax process improvements and automation, monitor global tax legislation, and provide guidance on ad hoc tax matters to business partners.
- • You will join a growing, dynamic Global Tax Team within Reddit’s Finance organization, reporting directly to the Global Tax Director. The team operates with an open mindset, values human-centered interactions, and supports Reddit’s mission to foster authentic communities through sound financial and tax stewardship in a remote-first, U.S.-based environment.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in corporate tax strategy, international tax, M&A tax structuring, and tax process automation while influencing high-stakes financial decisions. You will develop leadership skills in a fast-growing tech company, gain exposure to public company tax compliance, and contribute to scalable tax infrastructure that supports Reddit’s long-term growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required, masters in tax (MST or LLM) preferred
- • JD and/or CPA required
- • 9+ years of corporate tax experience with at least 5 years of public accounting experience, including in-house experience preferably in the tech sector
- • Demonstrated expertise in accounting for income taxes, M&A and deal review processes, and US international tax regulations
- • Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and Google Workspace (e.g. Google Sheets and Slides) required, experience with Alteryx a plus
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams in a remote environment
