- • Teaching Assistant (TA) role supporting ~25-30 learners in Correlation One’s virtual Machine Learning Data Associate program, providing synchronous and asynchronous support in German and English to ensure learning, comprehension, and retention of program content.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include attending mandatory pre-program onboarding, monitoring and responding to learner questions in Slack channels (#c1-TA, #live-chat, #extra-help), facilitating breakout rooms, assisting with session continuity during instructor technical issues, holding up to six individual office hours via Zoom, grading learner submissions within seven days, reviewing content materials for upcoming lectures, fostering discussion via #resources channel, submitting weekly write-ups, attending weekly staff meetings, and maintaining camera-on participation in all meetings.

- • The TA will develop expertise in machine learning principles, generative AI, and data annotation lifecycle; refine bilingual technical communication and feedback delivery in German and English; gain experience in virtual learner support, quality assurance using spreadsheet tools, and remote collaboration via Slack and Zoom; and contribute to program improvement through structured feedback and weekly insights.
🎯 Requirements
- • Professional fluency in both German and English to provide technical support and feedback to learners.
- • Solid foundational understanding of machine learning principles, generative AI, and the data annotation lifecycle.
- • At least 1–2 years of professional experience performing or leading labeling/QA workflows across text, image/video, and speech/audio with strong consistency and guideline adherence.
- • Active AWS Certified AI Practitioner certification.
- • Proven experience providing academic or technical support to learners as a teaching assistant, tutor, or peer mentor in a virtual setting.
- • Demonstrated ability to use spreadsheet tools (Excel or Google Sheets) to track learner progress and identify technical errors in data labeling exercises.
