- • As the Team Lead for Accounts Receivable at Heidi Health Pty Ltd, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process, a critical function supporting our rapid global expansion in the healthtech sector.
- • This is a pivotal leadership role where you will not only manage daily AR operations but also strategically build the foundational processes and team that will scale with Heidi's growth.
- • You will take full ownership of the O2C cycle, encompassing everything from meticulous invoicing and proactive collections to precise cash application, thorough customer reconciliations, and efficient dispute resolution.
- • Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of revenue recognition across multiple international entities and diverse regulatory environments.
- • As the primary escalation point for complex billing and collection challenges, you will be responsible for delivering professional and timely resolutions that uphold strong customer relationships and protect Heidi's financial integrity.
- • A key aspect of your role will involve leading month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring that all AR-related reconciliations are completed accurately and that comprehensive, reliable AR reporting is delivered to the finance leadership team and other stakeholders.
- • You will be tasked with building, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of Accounts Receivable Analysts, setting clear performance objectives, fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture, and driving a commitment to excellence.
- • Developing and implementing robust training programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives will be essential to upskill your team, enhance their capabilities, and mitigate key-person dependency, ensuring operational resilience.
- • You will be the architect of our AR policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), designing, implementing, and continuously refining these to bolster accuracy, improve timeliness, and ensure robust auditability of all AR processes.
- • A significant part of your mandate will be to identify opportunities for automation within the AR function. You will collaborate closely with IT, FinOps, and Engineering teams to implement scalable solutions that reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency.
- • You will be responsible for the continuous monitoring of key AR performance metrics, such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), aging reports, collection rates, and dispute trends, translating this data into actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- • Delivering regular, insightful AR performance reports will be a core responsibility, enabling data-informed decision-making across the Finance department and the broader business.
- • You will foster strong partnerships with Sales, Customer Success, RevOps, Legal, and Engineering departments to guarantee billing accuracy, swiftly resolve any contract or system-related issues, and contribute to an enhanced overall customer experience.
- • Supporting both internal and external audits will require you to provide detailed documentation and thorough analysis, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maintaining transparency in our financial operations.
- • This role demands a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating financial risks associated with accounts receivable, ensuring a healthy cash flow for the company.
- • You will play a vital role in optimizing cash flow by implementing effective collection strategies and minimizing bad debt.
- • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the finance function by sharing insights and collaborating on broader financial process enhancements.
- • Embracing Heidi's core values of building to last, owning your practice, moving fast while staying steady, and making others better will be fundamental to your success in this role.
- • You will be a key player in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of a fast-growing, impactful healthtech company.
- • This position offers the unique opportunity to build and lead a critical finance function from the ground up in a dynamic, mission-driven organization.
- • Your leadership will directly contribute to Heidi's ability to provide continuous, deeply human care by supporting clinicians and improving patient outcomes globally.
