• • As the Backend Tech Lead for the Data API team, your mission is to architect, develop, and scale the core API infrastructure that underpins mission-critical workflows for our Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams. You will be instrumental in engineering the services responsible for serving over 60 TB of Go-To-Market (GTM) data. Your focus will be on delivering low-latency, high-availability APIs that expose deep buyer insights to both our internal applications and our customer-facing dashboards. This is a pivotal opportunity for an engineer eager to take ownership of massive data and API infrastructure, establish a high standard for engineering excellence, and contribute to rapid product delivery in a high-urgency setting.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass leading the design and development of APIs that provide access to our extensive GTM data for both internal stakeholders and external users. You will own the end-to-end architecture for large-scale data access patterns, meticulously optimizing for performance, cost-effectiveness, and unwavering reliability. Collaboration will be key as you work closely with our AI, data, and frontend engineering teams to ensure seamless integrations and maintain clean, well-defined API contracts.
• • You will be tasked with tackling complex and challenging technical problems inherent in large-scale API systems. This includes managing API versioning strategies, implementing effective rate-limiting mechanisms, ensuring robust authentication and authorization, handling complex query optimization, and devising sophisticated cache invalidation strategies across a rapidly evolving product surface. To enhance engineering velocity and provide deep observability into our backend systems, you will also build and maintain internal tooling.
