📋 Description
- • As a Team Lead, Course Development at Ping Identity, you will be instrumental in shaping the technical expertise of our global customer base. This pivotal role involves leading the creation of high-quality, engaging technical training content for customer courses, certifications, and workshops. You will not only be a hands-on contributor to developing these critical learning materials but also a mentor and coach to a local team of course developers, ensuring a consistent standard of excellence and technical depth across our entire curriculum. Your work directly impacts how effectively our users, including developers, system integrators, and system administrators worldwide, can leverage Ping Identity's advanced identity and access management solutions, thereby enabling digital freedom for businesses and their customers.
- • In this dynamic role, your day-to-day responsibilities will be multifaceted, blending deep technical engagement with leadership. You will collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and develop comprehensive, hands-on, task-based training materials tailored for specific technical audiences. This includes crafting detailed student training guides, creating realistic lab exercises, developing assessment items to gauge understanding, and producing instructor teaching aids, all while considering various delivery modalities such as instructor-led sessions, e-learning modules, videos, or virtual classrooms. A significant part of your work will involve building and configuring Ping Identity products to create robust lab environments, meticulously documenting each step and configuration. You will rigorously test and refine all training deliverables – including labs, guides, and presentations – to guarantee accuracy, usability, and effectiveness. Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing content, implementing timely updates based on product changes and learner feedback derived from survey results, and managing assigned course projects or components while contributing to larger, overarching team initiatives.
- • Beyond individual contribution, you will lead and coach a local team of course developers, actively supporting their skill development, technical growth, and career progression. This involves providing regular, constructive feedback and conducting thorough content reviews to uphold consistent quality and learning standards across the team's output. You will play a key role in onboarding new course developers and supporting their ongoing professional development, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused team culture that thrives even within a distributed global environment. You will also be responsible for establishing and reinforcing best practices for technical accuracy, instructional quality, and content consistency, reviewing and approving curriculum deliverables produced by your team, and offering constructive guidance and technical direction. Your efforts will support the adoption of sound instructional design principles and learning standards throughout the curriculum.
- • This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth and impact. You will gain deep expertise in Ping Identity's product suite and the broader identity and access management landscape, becoming a go-to expert for complex technical inquiries from learners and instructors. You will have the chance to directly influence the learning experience of a global audience, contributing to their success with Ping Identity solutions. By mentoring and developing a team, you will hone your leadership and people management skills. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Training stakeholders to ensure our curriculum remains cutting-edge and aligned with product roadmaps. This role provides a unique blend of technical depth, instructional design, and team leadership, offering a challenging yet rewarding career path within a growing cybersecurity company.
- • Ping Identity is a leader in the intelligent, cloud identity platform space, enabling secure and seamless digital experiences for users worldwide. We are committed to fostering a culture that champions every identity, where individuality is respected, and employees are empowered to bring their authentic selves to work. Our global team serves some of the world's largest enterprises, and we are dedicated to changing how businesses approach cybersecurity and digital identity. You will be joining a company that values innovation, collaboration, and a positive work environment, with opportunities for professional development and making a real impact in the cybersecurity industry.
