- • As a Team Lead, Engineering for the Renewals and Pricing Team at Zensurance, you will play a critical role in guiding the migration from legacy pricing systems to the company’s internal data management platform and customer service portals, directly impacting how Canadian businesses access commercial insurance through a digital-first experience.
- • Day to day, you will mentor and coach your engineering team to deliver high-quality features, review code, contribute technically when needed, and collaborate cross-functionally with other Team Leads to establish engineering best practices and influence technical decisions.
- • You will join a fast-growing InsurTech company recognized by Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 (2023–2025) and Fast 500 (2024–2025), and named a Top Insurance Employer (2022), where innovation, ownership, and collaboration drive progress in transforming commercial insurance for Canadian businesses.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a technical team lead or engineering manager with a strong background in software development and system architecture.
- • Deep expertise in backend systems, data management platforms, and legacy system modernization, particularly in pricing or financial systems.
- • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster collaboration across teams to drive technical excellence.
