- • Lead daily shift operations at Deliveroo Editions in Cambridge, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities to ensure peak performance and adherence to company KPIs.
- • Supervise and coach team members on standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations through regular H&S checks.
- • Optimize the dispatch process to guarantee accurate order handling, timely rider coordination, and seamless service for restaurant partners such as Wagamama and Starbucks.
- • Maintain high site standards by enforcing cleanliness, organization, and professionalism across all operational areas to support a safe and efficient working environment.
- • Oversee team timekeeping and performance, ensuring accurate records and fostering a positive, cooperative team culture during every shift.
- • Act as the primary on-site point of contact for riders, restaurant partners, and stakeholders, communicating clearly and resolving issues in real time.
- • Drive operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions to improve throughput, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- • Ensure all activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including food handling protocols and workplace safety standards.
- • Support Site Management in achieving site-wide goals through proactive leadership, problem-solving, and consistent performance monitoring.
- • Adapt to a rotating shift schedule of 30 hours per week, working onsite at the Coldhams Rd (Editions) location in Cambridge.
- • Represent Deliveroo’s brand by embodying a hands-on, results-driven approach and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- • Collaborate with teammates across Deliveroo and DoorDash systems, contributing to a unified global operations team.
- • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to build leadership skills and advance within the Operations team.

- • Proven leadership ability with experience training others and running shifts independently
- • Strong hands-on mentality and ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced operational environment
- • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English to coordinate with riders, partners, and stakeholders
- • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding KPI targets
- • Commitment to excellence in safety, legality, and compliance
