📋 Description

• As a Team Leader at Deliveroo Editions in Manchester, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Site Management to achieve operational excellence and peak performance across delivery-only kitchen sites, ensuring restaurant partners and customers receive world-class service in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include leading shift operations by prioritising tasks and delegating effectively, supervising compliance and safety through SOP coaching and H&S checks, optimising dispatch for accurate order handling, maintaining high food safety and site standards, and managing team performance via timekeeping oversight and fostering a positive, cooperative culture.
• You will join the Site Operations team, which powers Deliveroo’s physical marketplace through HOP rapid grocery delivery and Editions delivery-only kitchens, combining retail and hospitality expertise with operational rigour to launch new sites and ensure excellence across markets.
• In this role, you will develop leadership skills in a real-time, impact-driven environment, grow through solving operational challenges as they arise, and gain clear pathways to step into broader management roles within a tight-knit, supportive team culture.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven leadership ability with experience training others and confidence to run shifts independently
• Strong hands-on mentality and ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced operational environment
• Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in written and spoken English to coordinate with riders, partners, and stakeholders
• Results-oriented mindset with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding KPI targets
• Commitment to excellence, ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe, legal, and compliant manner
• Right to work in the UK
