- • As a Team Manager, Technical Support at Smartsheet Inc., you will lead and mentor a globally distributed team of technical support professionals to deliver enterprise-level post-sales support, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and operational excellence.
- • Day to day, you will manage team performance through coaching, feedback, and goal setting; oversee case and queue management; analyze KPIs and customer feedback to drive improvements; participate in release readiness; recruit and onboard talent; and collaborate across global Support and other stakeholders to align on initiatives and share best practices.
- • Smartsheet is a global leader in work automation and enterprise collaboration tools, empowering teams to streamline workflows, gain insights, and scale operations. The Support team serves as the first line of customer engagement, combining technical expertise with empathy to resolve issues and advocate for user success.
- • In this role, you will develop leadership and people management expertise in a high-growth SaaS environment, strengthen your ability to drive team performance and customer outcomes, and gain experience in global team coordination, process improvement, and strategic alignment with Support leadership.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of prior people management or equivalent experience in mentoring, managing, or providing feedback to individual contributors
- • 3+ years experience working in a technical support or customer service environment, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume technical SaaS setting
- • Excellent end-user interaction and strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Experience coaching, mentoring, managing, and evaluating performance of individual contributors
- • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of challenges, and learn new skills quickly in a evolving software environment
