- • Architect and evolve the backend of our demand-side platform, written entirely in Go, that handles billions of daily API events from 200+ million users. You will own the microservice landscape that powers campaign creation, real-time bidding, and granular reporting for advertisers around the globe.
- • Lead the Advertising Dashboard team (6-8 engineers) in designing resilient, low-latency APIs that return sub-100 ms insights on spend, impressions, and conversions. Your decisions directly influence how quickly external partners can react to market changes and scale their user-acquisition budgets.
- • Champion event-driven architecture using Kafka, SQS/SNS, and Kinesis to guarantee at-least-once delivery of every click, install, and revenue event. You will set the standards for idempotency, back-pressure handling, and exactly-once semantics across 30+ microservices.
- • Optimize and extend our Druid-based analytics layer so that account managers can slice and dice petabytes of data in seconds. You will write and tune complex OLAP queries, design rollup strategies, and mentor the team on best practices for columnar storage.
- • Own the full development lifecycle—from technical design and code reviews to production deployment and on-call rotation. You will pair-program, conduct architecture guild sessions, and ensure every pull request raises the quality bar for readability, test coverage, and performance.
- • Bridge business goals and technical execution by translating product requirements into scalable system designs. You will work side-by-side with product managers, data scientists, and UX designers to launch features such as dynamic creative upload, automated budget pacing, and predictive LTV models.
- • Ensure rock-solid reliability at global scale. You will define SLIs/SLOs, implement chaos-engineering experiments, and lead post-mortems that turn incidents into actionable improvements—keeping our 99.9 % uptime promise to advertisers.
- • Foster a culture of continuous learning. You will run internal tech talks, sponsor conference attendance, and create career-development plans that turn senior engineers into the next generation of staff-level leaders.
- • Collaborate with our Programmatic, Playtime, and Data Platform teams to unify data contracts, share streaming schemas, and eliminate silos—making adjoe a true end-to-end ad-tech powerhouse.
- • Stay on the bleeding edge. Evaluate new AWS services, experiment with Rust or Kotlin where it makes sense, and pilot ClickHouse or Apache Pinot when Druid reaches its limits—always balancing innovation with pragmatic delivery.
