- • As Tech Lead Manager for Infrastructure at Zip, you will lead the Core Infrastructure team in Toronto, driving the mission, vision, and strategy for observability, reliability, and modernization initiatives while managing a high-performing team of 4-5 engineers and contributing hands-on to core technical projects.
- • You will manage the local Toronto team, take ownership of Zip’s Kubernetes platform, observability, and deployment tooling, partner with the Core Infrastructure SF team on multi-region expansion, and serve as the local site lead for the broader Foundations Engineering Group in Toronto.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5 years of experience in software engineering
- • Strong track record of leading teams of engineers on platform or infrastructure projects
- • Hands-on expertise in building and operating large-scale systems using AWS, Datadog, Kubernetes, and open-source solutions
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- • Experience mentoring and developing other engineers
- • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field
