- • As a Tech Lead for Web Core Product & Chrome Extension at Speechify, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of accessible reading technology used by over 50 million people worldwide, ensuring that reading is never a barrier to learning through innovative text-to-speech solutions.
- • Day to day, you will actively ship production code to web products, collaborate closely with your dedicated product team, participate in product discussions to influence the roadmap, and contribute to new features that impact millions of users’ learning experiences.
- • You will join a fully distributed, high-caliber team of nearly 200 engineers, AI researchers, and product experts from top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and Stanford, as well as high-growth startups such as Stripe, Vercel, and Bolt, all united by a mission-driven, flat organizational culture.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in frontend technologies, strengthen your leadership through technical excellence and consistent delivery, and grow your ability to balance speed, focus, and collaboration in a fast-paced, asynchronous environment while making a tangible impact on global accessibility.

- • Proven experience building and shipping products that have scaled to thousands or millions of users
- • Strong customer obsession with a passion for creating high-quality products that serve real user needs
- • Demonstrated ability to work quickly, prioritize effectively, and decide what can ship now versus what requires more time
- • Proficiency in the tech stack: Vanilla JS, ReactJS, Redux, Firebase, and Typescript
- • Excellent collaboration skills, including the ability to inspire, negotiate, and work effectively with opinionated designers, marketers, and product managers
