- • The Contrast Professional Services team is dedicated to a singular mission: making modern software applications inherently secure. We engage closely with Security and Development teams globally, leveraging our deep expertise in the Contrast Application Security Platform to safeguard the entire software development lifecycle. This role is integral to that mission, ensuring our customers achieve robust security postures.
- • As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Contrast Security, you will be entrusted with owning the technical relationship and ensuring an exceptional delivery experience for a portfolio of assigned customer accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to orchestrate and manage all technical activities, ensuring successful project outcomes and serving as the central technical point of contact throughout each customer's journey with Contrast.
- • You will act as a crucial liaison, partnering intimately with our customers, alongside our internal Engineering, Support, and Product teams. This collaboration is key to ensuring that deployments, integrations, and ongoing technical engagements are executed with precision, efficiency, and are fully aligned with the unique technical requirements and strategic objectives of our clients.
- • This position is ideally suited for an individual who thrives on hands-on technical ownership, excels at coordinating complex, cross-functional technical efforts, and is committed to cultivating and maintaining long-term, trusted relationships with customers. You will be the technical champion for your accounts, ensuring they derive maximum value from the Contrast platform.
- • Key responsibilities include serving as the primary technical point of contact for your assigned customer accounts, providing a consistent and reliable technical interface. You will manage and meticulously coordinate all customer technical engagements, from the initial onboarding phase through to steady-state operational utilization of the Contrast platform.
- • A significant part of your role will involve partnering closely with customers to gain a deep understanding of their specific technical requirements, existing infrastructure environments, and clearly defined success criteria. This understanding will enable you to tailor our solutions and support effectively.
- • You will be adept at coordinating and mobilizing internal resources across our Engineering, Support, Product Management, and Sales departments as required to meet customer needs and project milestones. This requires strong internal networking and communication skills.
- • You will be responsible for meticulously tracking and managing all technical deliverables, project milestones, and interdependencies, ensuring that projects remain on schedule and within scope.
- • Facilitating productive technical discussions, strategic working sessions, and regular status updates with customers will be a core function, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- • Proactively identifying potential technical risks and issues, and driving their timely and effective resolution will be critical to maintaining customer satisfaction and project success.
- • You will guide customers in ensuring their environments are configured in accordance with Contrast's best practices, maximizing the efficacy and security of their implementation.
- • You will provide essential support for the deployment, integration, and ongoing optimization of the Contrast platform within customer environments.
- • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of customer technical details, key decisions made, and project outcomes is crucial for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- • Acting as a key technical escalation point and a strong internal advocate for customer needs will ensure that customer feedback and challenges are addressed effectively at all levels within Contrast.
- • Ultimately, you will be accountable for ensuring a consistently high level of customer satisfaction through proactive, transparent communication and flawless execution of technical responsibilities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical customer-facing role, such as Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, or Senior Support Engineer.
- • Demonstrated strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand and articulate complex software systems, security concepts, and integration methodologies.
- • Proven experience coordinating and leading cross-functional technical teams (e.g., Engineering, Product, Support) to achieve project goals.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- • Strong organizational and project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple complex customer engagements simultaneously.
