- • As the Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Lead at Fluidstack Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping and solidifying the financial integrity of our rapidly growing AI infrastructure company. This pivotal role sits at the core of our finance organization, demanding a deep dive into the intricacies of US GAAP and its application to novel and complex transactions within the cutting-edge AI and technology sectors.
- • You will serve as the primary subject matter expert on all technical accounting matters, ensuring our financial practices are not only compliant but also robust, scalable, and audit-ready. This involves a proactive approach to identifying, researching, and documenting accounting positions for a wide array of financial activities.
- • A significant aspect of your role will be the meticulous application of accounting standards such as ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), ASC 842 (Leases), ASC 718 (Stock-Based Compensation), and ASC 805 (Business Combinations). Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the complexities of multi-element revenue arrangements and the unique accounting treatments required for equity, leases, and innovative transaction structures that are characteristic of the AI infrastructure landscape.
- • Beyond technical accounting, you will own the end-to-end financial reporting function. This encompasses the diligent preparation and assurance of the accuracy and completeness of internal and external financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and all accompanying footnotes.
- • You will be a key collaborator, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the legal department, and external auditors. Your ability to translate complex accounting principles into clear, actionable insights will be vital for cross-functional alignment and decision-making.
