đź“‹ Description

  • • Architect and drive the Agile discipline capability across the Digital Solutions group, ensuring every delivery discipline—Project Management, Scrum Masters, Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, Development, Data, and Solution Support—operates at peak performance within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
  • • Define and own the 18-month rolling talent strategy for each discipline, partnering with discipline leaders to maintain the optimal skill mix, progressive career paths, and succession plans that keep pace with enterprise delivery roadmaps.
  • • Build and continuously refine comprehensive competency frameworks, targeted training curricula, and certification pathways that elevate Agile delivery excellence and foster a culture of lifelong learning.
  • • Establish and enforce standardized Agile and SAFe practices, ceremonies, templates, and tooling across all teams, ensuring consistency in velocity tracking, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and quality gates.
  • • Implement governance and quality-control mechanisms—including process audits, compliance checkpoints, and security reviews—to guarantee that every product, project, and program meets regulatory, security, and performance standards.
  • • Champion the adoption of AI, automation, and modern delivery tools to streamline workflows, reduce manual overhead, and accelerate time-to-value; measure adoption rates and ROI to justify continued investment.
  • • Define and monitor KPIs for discipline performance—such as throughput, defect density, automation coverage, and cycle time—publishing transparent dashboards that inform executive decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • • Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership, translating complex delivery metrics into actionable insights that align with strategic objectives.
  • • Mentor and coach discipline leaders on servant leadership, change management, and high-impact communication, ensuring they can inspire their teams while holding them accountable for outcomes.
  • • Proactively identify and remove systemic impediments—whether technical, procedural, or cultural—that hinder velocity or compromise quality, leveraging root-cause analysis and lean thinking.
  • • Lead quarterly capability reviews with Release Train Engineers and Agile Coaches to validate adherence to SAFe principles, inspect and adapt practices, and prioritize backlog items that enhance delivery maturity.
  • • Oversee the creation and maintenance of a centralized knowledge repository—playbooks, runbooks, and best-practice guides—that accelerates onboarding and preserves institutional knowledge.
  • • Drive cross-functional communities of practice that encourage innovation, share lessons learned, and pilot emerging technologies before enterprise-wide rollout.
  • • Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to forecast hiring needs, craft compelling job descriptions, and design interview rubrics that attract diverse, high-caliber candidates.
  • • Sponsor hackathons, innovation sprints, and internal incubators that empower teams to experiment with new ideas and deliver proof-of-concepts that can evolve into strategic products.
  • • Ensure that all delivery artifacts—user stories, acceptance criteria, test cases, deployment scripts—meet documentation standards that support auditability, knowledge transfer, and regulatory compliance.
  • • Facilitate executive steering-committee meetings, presenting risk-adjusted delivery forecasts, resource allocation scenarios, and investment trade-offs that secure continued funding and executive sponsorship.
  • • Embed a culture of psychological safety where constructive feedback, calculated risk-taking, and continuous learning are celebrated, resulting in higher engagement and lower attrition.
  • • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Cybersecurity teams to align delivery roadmaps with target-state architecture and zero-trust security principles, ensuring scalability and resilience.
  • • Oversee vendor and partner relationships related to Agile tooling, training, and automation platforms, negotiating contracts that optimize cost, capability, and service levels.
  • • Model RSM’s core values—integrity, respect, teamwork, excellence, and stewardship—in every interaction, reinforcing a workplace where authenticity, inclusion, and professional growth flourish.
