- • Conduct detailed technical compliance reviews of SFG20 maintenance schedules to ensure alignment with current legislation, industry standards, and best practices.
- • Perform comprehensive research across statutory regulations, technical standards, guidance documents, and industry publications to validate maintenance tasks, frequencies, and required skill sets.
- • Critically evaluate technical content for inconsistencies, gaps, or conflicts in legal justifications, maintenance criticalities, and operational recommendations.
- • Verify that all maintenance schedules are supported by sufficient, credible evidence and accurately reflect real-world operational requirements.
- • Collaborate with Technical Authors and subject matter experts to resolve technical queries, challenge recommendations, and drive alignment on compliance outcomes.
- • Produce clear, structured, and auditable documentation for all compliance reviews, including audit trails and defensible reasoning for conclusions.
- • Identify and escalate unresolved or complex technical issues through established governance and specialist review processes.
- • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of compliance processes, review methodologies, and governance frameworks.
- • Support technical compliance assessments related to platform developments, operational processes, and customer-facing content.
- • Stay current with evolving legislative, technical, and industry developments in building services engineering, facilities management, and compliance.
- • Fact-check and create related technical content such as blogs and articles to support knowledge dissemination and compliance awareness.
- • Demonstrate persistence and curiosity in resolving ambiguity, conflicting guidance, or incomplete technical information.
- • Manage multiple concurrent compliance reviews while maintaining high accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines.
- • Engage constructively with internal and external stakeholders, including technical specialists, to foster collaboration and consensus on compliance matters.
- • Apply a commercial and pragmatic approach to technical compliance, balancing regulatory rigor with operational feasibility.
- • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel and broader Microsoft Office tools to organize, analyze, and document compliance data and findings.
- • Participate in the evolution of systems for tracking compliance reviews, actions, outcomes, and audit records as the function scales.
- • Conduct technical due diligence on new platform features, operational changes, and customer-facing materials to ensure ongoing compliance integrity.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in building services engineering, facilities management, maintenance engineering, design engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- • Strong understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements relating to maintenance and facilities management.
- • Ability to interpret legislation, standards, and guidance documents and apply them in technical or operational settings.
- • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to clearly document technical reasoning and conclusions.
- • Ability to critically evaluate technical information and identify inconsistencies, omissions, or areas requiring clarification.
