- • Flagright is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Content Writer & Social Content Lead to join our dynamic, remote team. As an AI-native financial crime compliance platform, Flagright serves a global clientele including Fortune 500 companies, major banks, fintech innovators, and rapidly growing startups. Our platform is engineered for scale, real-time performance, and stringent regulatory adherence, consolidating transaction monitoring, screening, risk management, and investigations into a unified, modern system. We pride ourselves on operating as a lean, high-performance unit where individual ownership is paramount, and direct access to leadership is a given.
- • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in transforming content creation into a predictable, high-impact engine for Flagright. Your primary objective will be to harness Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge and convert it into clear, conversion-focused assets. Furthermore, you will excel at repurposing this core content into compelling organic social media distribution strategies. Success in this position hinges on your ability to rapidly extract insights from sales call recordings, produce technically accurate and concise drafts with minimal editorial revisions, manage a structured content workflow (from brief to publish-ready), and adeptly transform substantial assets into multiple social-media-friendly pieces without sacrificing core meaning.
- • Key Responsibilities:
- • Content Production (Primary Focus):
- • Own the drafting and iterative refinement of a diverse range of content, including:
- • Blog Posts: Develop SEO-optimized articles and thought leadership pieces that establish Flagright's expertise and industry perspective.
- • Product and Industry Explainers: Create clear, accessible content that demystifies complex financial crime compliance concepts and Flagright's solutions.
- • Use Cases: Detail practical applications of Flagright's platform, showcasing its value proposition for different client segments.
- • Comparison Posts: Articulate Flagright's advantages over competitors or alternative solutions.
- • Tactical How-Tos: Provide actionable guidance and best practices related to financial crime compliance.
- • Opinionated Takes: Where appropriate, craft content that reflects Flagright's unique viewpoint on industry trends and challenges.
- • Develop Handbooks and Guides: Produce structured, long-form assets designed to support marketing campaigns, facilitate lead capture, and serve as comprehensive resources.
- • Manage Newsletters: Maintain a consistent weekly or bi-weekly cadence for newsletters, fostering trust, nurturing leads, and re-engaging dormant contacts.
- • Draft Case Studies and Client Announcements: Craft compelling narratives around client success stories and significant company milestones, ensuring a polished and impactful presentation.
- • Create Product and Use-Case Explainer Pages/Docs: Develop clear, concise content for web pages or documentation that effectively communicates 'what it is,' 'why it matters,' 'how it works,' provides proof points, and includes a strong Call to Action (CTA).
- • Ensure Definition of 'Done': Deliver drafts that are not merely initial thoughts but are publish-ready, characterized by clarity, technical accuracy, adherence to brand voice, proper structure, and strategic CTA integration.
- • Social Content Ownership:
- • Take full ownership of organic social content creation and daily execution, effectively translating core content assets into impactful distribution strategies.
- • Repurpose long-form content into social-native formats, including LinkedIn posts, X (formerly Twitter) threads, Medium articles, Reddit posts, concise threads, carousel outlines, short POV pieces, and potentially drafting content in the founder's executive voice.
- • Develop and execute weekly social media content batches, meticulously aligned with the content calendar and current priorities such as campaigns, product launches, and key proof points.
- • Collaborate closely with our creative designer to ensure the production of necessary visuals, including diagrams, carousels, and simple charts.
- • Coordinate with program and campaign leads to synchronize publishing and distribution schedules, proactively avoiding calendar conflicts.
- • Maintain a streamlined social media management system, including a post bank, hooks library, proof points library, and an 'evergreen' content rotation strategy.
- • Track fundamental social media metrics, such as post frequency, engagement quality, top-performing content, and identify patterns that warrant replication.
- • Content System & Editorial Operations:
- • Build and maintain a robust, repeatable content system encompassing content briefs, outlines, interview notes, and source links.
- • Implement version control and establish consistent naming conventions for all assets.
- • Manage a central content repository for final assets and reusable components.
- • Provide visibility into the content pipeline, clearly indicating stages such as discovery, drafting, review, and revision.
- • Sales Call Insight Extraction:
- • Proactively schedule dedicated time with the sales and retention teams to extract raw insights through short, structured interviews, asynchronous Q&A sessions, or call shadowing.
- • Own the process of transforming unstructured input into well-structured, publishable drafts.
- • Develop and maintain a comprehensive question bank categorized by topic to expedite the insight extraction process over time.
- • SEO Collaboration:
- • Partner with our SEO lead to understand and implement SEO requirements, including target keywords, optimal content structure, internal linking opportunities, and alignment with search intent.
- • Integrate basic on-page SEO elements into drafts, such as headings, relevant FAQs, internal link placeholders, and metadata suggestions.
- • Publishing Readiness & Quality Assurance:
- • Develop and maintain a content quality assurance (QA) checklist covering clarity, structure, reading flow, technical accuracy (avoiding overclaims), voice consistency, positioning, CTA placement, conversion intent, and basic compliance (e.g., avoiding sensitive client disclosures, unapproved claims, and ensuring correct terminology).
