Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Technical Customer Support Specialist at Nestmed, you will be the frontline advocate for clinicians and healthcare staff using an AI-powered documentation platform that saves time and improves patient care. Your role is critical in ensuring users receive timely, empathetic, and effective support during high-pressure moments in their workday.
- • Day to day, you will manage inbound support via Zendesk across email, chat, phone, and tickets—handling password resets, login issues, audio file transfers, app restarts, and account configurations. You will triage high-volume inquiries with speed and clarity, escalate technical issues to engineering with full context, and follow through until resolution is confirmed by the user.
- • Nestmed is a fast-growing healthtech startup founded by alumni from Stanford, YC, Google, and Meta, backed by PayPal and Plaid founders. We serve over 60 home health agencies, including 7 of the top 10 US enterprises, supporting more than a million patient visits annually. Our mission is to fix broken healthcare documentation with AI, giving clinicians their time back.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in healthtech support, sharpen your technical troubleshooting and communication skills, and gain direct influence on product improvements by surfacing user feedback. You’ll grow into a trusted partner across support, product, and engineering teams while making a tangible impact on clinician workflows.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years in technical customer support or a client-facing role, ideally in healthtech or healthcare SaaS
- • Proven troubleshooting instincts—ability to diagnose root causes, not just symptoms, and document issues clearly for engineering teams
- • Experience managing high-volume support queues with disciplined triage, prioritization, and consistent response quality under pressure
- • Proficiency with Zendesk or comparable ticketing platforms; able to operate effectively without on-the-job training
- • Strong communication skills—capable of translating technical issues into plain, empathetic language for non-technical, time-pressed users such as nurses and clinicians
- • Familiarity with home health workflows, EHR/EMR systems, or clinical charting environments is a strong plus
🏖️ Benefits
- • Mission-driven work improving healthcare documentation at scale, directly impacting clinician burnout and patient care
- • Early-stage ownership opportunities with real influence on product and user experience
- • Remote work flexibility based in Canada (EST hours) with a collaborative, purpose-driven culture
- • Direct collaboration with product and engineering teams to shape the platform based on user feedback
- • Competitive compensation range of CAD $80,000 - $90,000
- • Exposure to cutting-edge AI and voice-based healthcare technology in a fast-growing startup
